About the SHL

The SHL (which stands for “Serendipity Hockey League“) was invented in 2015 by Colin and Leslie Mills, a pair of crazy hockey fans from Northern Virginia (go Caps!) who wanted a way to have some fun together.  All of the stories are written by Colin and Leslie, and all of the players and coaches are the product of their wild imaginations.  The games are simulated on a Python program that Colin wrote (and continues to fiddle with; he calls it his “nerd hot rod”).

One thing you can be sure of: whenever it’s SHL season, some wacky over-the-top hijinks are sure to ensue (especially when the Shockers are involved).
